Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F), Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:MPEL) and General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) are among the top three holdings of Moon Capital Management LLP, as per their recent 13F SEC filing. Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is the largest holding of Moon Capital with 1,529,924 shares and an investment of $26 million. Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) constitutes 15% of Moon Capital’s 13F portfolio. Ford registered $2.6 billion in pre-tax profit for the second quarter 2014 with net income of $1.3 billion or $0.32 per share. It was the 17th consecutive profitable quarter for Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) with automotive cash flow of $2.6 billion.

Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:MPEL) is the second largest holding of Moon Capital with 677,517 shares with a current market value of $24 million. It makes 13.76% of Moon Capital’s portfolio and the company reported net revenue of $1.2 billion for the second quarter 2014. Net GAAP income for the quarter was $143.6 million and $313.6 million in adjusted property EBITDA.

Moon Capital Management has General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) as its third largest holding with 483,041 shares with a market value of $17 million. It makes 9.97% of Moon Capital’s portfolio. General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) registered net revenue of $39.6 billion for the second quarter of 2014 and $77 billion for the first six months of 2014. Net income attributed to common stockholders was $0.2 billion as compared to $1.2 billion in the same period last year. It announced $0.4 billion for the ignition switch compensation program.
