20 Dividend Kings of 2021

A stock which has had a dividend increase for more than 50 years is known as a dividend king. When a company manages to increase the dividend constantly for more than 50 years then there is almost no chance that its dividend would stop increasing or slash. When the interest rates decline, non-dividend stocks remain behind the dividend stocks. However, the data points out that the dividend stocks beat the non-dividend stocks even when the interest rates rise. A research study held via Ned Davis shows that when the rates were hiked by the Federal Reserve, S&P 500 index showed 2.2% increase. The non-dividend stock returned 1.8%. This is always advisable for you to bring diversity to your stream for income as the global financial markets are known for their volatility. The reputation of hedge funds is now tarnished as the hedge returns did not keep up with unhedged returns in the market index in the recent decade.

Let us look at HB Fuller Co which had a dividend yield of 1.2%. This company is based in Minnesota and sells the industrial adhesives at the international level. The non-GAAP EPS reported by HB was $1.06 in its fourth fiscal quarter which is $0.20 more than what Street forecasted. The revenue of the company jumped by 5.2%.
