Wondering what countries have been blessed with the most average height and which nations possess the least? It’s probably a weird thing to wonder but interesting to find out all the same. Insider Monkey has formulated a list of 16 countries with the tallest and shortest people in the world and it may or may not come as a surprise that all 16 tallest countries are European!

It’s unfair that European citizens are known for their beauty and now we find out they have the height factor working for them too? Oh well, all the more reason to visit the breathtaking countries that Europe envelops within it. Some of the countries on the list have fabulous sight seeing opportunities to offer.

Coming to the shortest countries: unsurprisingly South American and Asian countries dominate that list.
