Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA)’s Model S Stays On Top In Terms Of Customer Satisfaction

In addition to being the most luxurious electric car manufacturer, Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) has received a hand of applause from its customers for being the most reliable, fun to drive, and stylish vehicle of the year. A satisfaction survey carried out by Consumer Reports has listed Model S as the best car in terms of customer satisfaction.

Tesla has one single line on its website to define Model S saying, “Introducing a car so advanced it sets a new standard for premium performance” and that has been proven true by its customer satisfaction survey. The primary factors considered in the survey include “styling, comfort, features, cargo space, fuel economy, maintenance and repair costs, overall value, and driving dynamics.”

Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA)’s Model S was the only car to get positive response for all of these parameters. The Consumer Reports team added,

“With a single model that checks all of those boxes, Tesla Motors has built a rabid following since the car’s 2012 launch, reflected in 98 percent of Model S owners saying they would definitely purchase it again. Not only is the Tesla roomy, comfortable, and a lot of fun to drive, but it also has low operating costs—returning the equivalent of 84 mpg.”

In addition to it, the demand for the all-wheel-drive Tesla P85D is incredible and Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), said,

“Demand for the P85D is off the charts. We’re seeing a very high proportion of orders for all-wheel drive, either P85D or 85D (which has smaller, equal-sized electric motors front and rear), so 70%-plus of our cars will be dual-motor.”

The P85D from Tesla is called as the “halo car” that pretty much flaunts the real power of electric cars with the ability to reach 0-60 miles within 3.2 seconds. Musk added that P85D is “fastest accelerating four-door production car in the world.”
